I appreciated the attention to detail, from the well-stocked complimentary bar to the beautifully handwritten notes that welcomed me on arrival.

While the suite was luxurious, there were a few misses that I didn’t expect. For instance, I found the introduction to lodge amenities lacking and there was no complimentary water in the room, which felt a bit off for the price. while the food was decent, the service knowledge regarding wine choices could use some refinement, especially at the on-site restaurants.

The only hiccup was the power plug issue in the room. it switched off when too many appliances were used, but it was fixed quickly. I wish I could have stayed longer, as everything about this stay felt perfect.

Just a prime choice for a transient stop in Plettenberg Bay with excellent value for money. Room service was delivered promptly and was very good after a long day. Make sure to utilize the complimentary bar in the rooms.
